Our Ice Cream Event Social Was a Success!
While we love seeing our community make efforts to stay safe, it can be difficult to find a way to connect with others when so many of our usual local events have been cancelled or heavily restricted. One of the great things about living and working in a suburb of Los Angeles like Burbank is the community we can find through local events, but it can be tough to connect with others through a screen when many events have transitioned to a virtual setting, and true local events are few and far between. This is why the Miranda Team wanted to put on a safe, outdoor event where we could connect with members of our community and beat the heat with something sweet at the same time. Our ice cream social event was a huge success, and we were so happy to catch up with everyone who attended.

We love putting on local events not only for our longtime local residents, but especially for clients who have just relocated and are looking for community! We had over thirty families in attendance at our summer Ice Cream Social Event at Ralph Foy Park in Burbank on August 28, 2021 and had a blast sharing time (and ice cream!) with our favorite people. Local events like our ice cream social not only help our clients connect with each other to find new friends, but let us catch up with amazing people we haven’t seen in a while. We loved hearing stories about our clients' homes and families, and knowing that we were able to facilitate a place that brings them joy motivates us to find others their perfect home, too.
We also enjoy partnering with our favorite colleagues at our local events. Nothing brings people together like food truck events, so we are incredibly grateful to Brett Doscher, loan officer at Augusta Financial for providing sweet treats from the Augusta Treats Suite and loan expertise to our friends and family. We could not have put on such a successful event without Brett. His expert financial advice and generosity make Brett not only a great business partner, but a great friend.
Overall, we had an amazing time seeing each and every person that attended our ice cream social event. Our team loves nothing more than serving our community, and what better to serve on a hot summer day than ice cream? We can’t wait to see you at the other local events we have planned for this year. From concerts to farmers markets to local hobby groups, find local events this weekend where you can meet a new friend!
